How to choose a larger Cloud server

Choose a larger Cloud plan when 1 GB of memory or 20 GB of disk is the limit. Stay in the same region. An upgrade does not move the datacenter, and it does not shrink the disk. When Cloud 1 GB is enough covers the smallest plan.

Europe sizes

Europe Cloud plans run in Falkenstein, Nuremberg, or Helsinki. The figures below are the 12-month term. Shorter terms stay on the plan page. What a Cloud server costs in euro explains why the card and the amount due are different.

  • Cloud 2 GB: 1 core, 2 GB of memory, 40 GB of disk. €14.99 a month, €179.88 for the year.
  • Cloud 4 GB: 2 cores, 4 GB of memory, 80 GB of disk. €23.99 a month, €287.88 for the year.
  • Cloud 8 GB: 4 cores, 8 GB of memory, 160 GB of disk. €42.99 a month, €515.88 for the year.
  • Cloud 16 GB: 8 cores, 16 GB of memory, 320 GB of disk. €84.99 a month, €1019.88 for the year.
  • Cloud 24 GB: 12 cores, 24 GB of memory, 480 GB of disk. €119.99 a month, €1439.88 for the year.
  • Cloud 32 GB: 16 cores, 32 GB of memory, 640 GB of disk. €154.99 a month, €1859.88 for the year.

Singapore sizes

Singapore has the same memory steps and the same core and disk counts. The prices are the Singapore prices. On a 12-month term:

Do not use a Europe card as the Singapore price. The location stays in Singapore.

What does not change with the size

Each server includes one public IPv4 address and 20 TB of traffic. A larger plan does not add a second address or a larger traffic allowance. When the 20 TB is used, the server pauses and powers back on when the allowance resets. What is included with a server lists the address, the traffic, and the operating systems.

Backups stay optional at 20% of the chosen term. Extra disk stays €0.10 per GB per month, with a 10 GB minimum, paid for the whole term. Extra disk adds storage. It does not add memory. If the limit is memory, order the next plan. If the limit is only disk, extra disk can be enough.

Dedicated is a separate order

A larger Cloud plan is still a Cloud plan. United States servers are Dedicated, in Ashburn or Hillsboro. There is no public Dedicated plan in Europe or Singapore, and there is no public Cloud plan in the United States. Use Dedicated 8 GB United States when dedicated CPU in the United States is the requirement.

Pick the region first, then the smallest size that fits the memory and disk. Cloud plans lists every public plan. The plan page shows the amount due for the term.
