What a Cloud server costs in euro

The price on a Cloud plan card is the monthly rate when the server is billed for 12 months. Checkout does not charge that rate once and stop. It charges the price of the whole term you choose: 1, 3, 6, or 12 months.
Europe Cloud 1 GB
Cloud 1 GB is the smallest Europe Cloud plan. The card shows €7.99. That figure is €95.88 spread over 12 months. The other terms for the same server are:
- 12 months: €95.88, shown as €7.99 a month
- 6 months: €50.94, which is €8.49 a month
- 3 months: €26.97, which is €8.99 a month
- 1 month: €9.99
A longer term has a lower monthly rate. The amount due today is still the price of the whole term. A 12-month order is €95.88 due at checkout, not €7.99.
Singapore uses the same size and a different price
Cloud 1 GB Singapore is also 1 core, 1 GB of memory, and 20 GB of disk. On a 12-month term it is €9.99 a month, €119.88 for the year. One month is €11.99. The plan page lists the 3-month and 6-month prices. Do not use the Europe card as the Singapore price.
What the server price leaves out
The term price includes the server. It does not include backups or extra disk.
Backups are optional and cost 20% of the chosen term. Extra disk is storage, not memory. It is €0.10 per GB per month, with a 10 GB minimum, and it is paid for the whole term. Ten gigabytes for 12 months is €12.00 on top of the server.
Every server includes one public IPv4 address and 20 TB of traffic. When that traffic is used, the server pauses and powers back on when the allowance resets. What is included with a server lists the address, the traffic allowance, and the operating systems.
Where the charged price is shown
Open the plan, choose 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, and read the amount due before you pay. Cloud plans lists every public Cloud size. The plan page is the price used at checkout.
