When Cloud 1 GB is enough

Cloud 1 GB is enough when the service fits in 1 GB of memory and 20 GB of disk. It is the smallest public Cloud plan. Order a larger Cloud plan when you already know that size is too small.
What the plan is
Both public Cloud 1 GB plans have 1 core, 1 GB of memory, and 20 GB of disk. Each includes one public IPv4 address and 20 TB of traffic. A larger plan does not raise that traffic allowance. The operating system is chosen at order. A later reinstall erases the disk. What is included with a server lists the address, the traffic, and the systems.
Extra disk does not change this choice. It adds storage, not memory. If the service needs more than 1 GB of memory, Cloud 1 GB is too small even with extra disk.
Europe
Cloud 1 GB runs in Falkenstein, Nuremberg, or Helsinki. You choose one of those locations when you order. It cannot be moved later.
On a 12-month term the card shows €7.99 a month, and the amount due is €95.88. Shorter terms stay on that plan page. What a Cloud server costs in euro explains the card and the amount due.
Singapore
Cloud 1 GB Singapore is the same size, in Singapore. On a 12-month term it is €9.99 a month, €119.88 for the year. Use this plan when the people or the service should be in Singapore. Do not order it as a cheaper copy of the Europe plan. It costs more, and the location stays in Singapore.
When to order the next size
Move up when the memory or the 20 GB disk is the limit. Cloud 2 GB is the next Europe size: 1 core, 2 GB of memory, and 40 GB of disk. On a 12-month term that card shows €14.99 a month, and the amount due is €179.88. Cloud 2 GB Singapore is the same size in Singapore. On a 12-month term it is €18.99 a month, €227.88 for the year.
An upgrade stays in the region you already chose. It does not shrink the disk, and it does not move the datacenter. There is no Cloud plan in the United States. The servers page lists Dedicated plans there.
Order Cloud 1 GB or Cloud 1 GB Singapore only after the location is settled. The plan page is where the term is chosen and the amount due is shown.
