Point a domain at a server

A blank navy nameplate joined by a teal line to a server cabinet.

Point the name at the server after both orders exist. The domain does not include a server, and the server does not include a domain.

The address on the server

Every server includes one public IPv4 address. The order does not add a second address. What is included with a server lists that address and the traffic allowance.

Where you enter it

After the name is registered, its DNS records are managed in the client area. Put the server's IPv4 address in an A record for the name that should open the server. Keep the name on the DNS included with the registration, so the client area is the place that record is stored.

Register a domain for a server is the order for a new name. A name you already own moves with Transfer a domain. Cloud 1 GB is the smallest Europe server if you still need the machine. Search the name on Domain names and read the years and the amount due before you pay.
