Transfer a domain

A transfer keeps the name you already own and adds one year. You pay the transfer price shown on the domain page before you submit it. For every listed name except .ai, that price is the same as one year of registration.
The transfer price
Domain names shows the transfer price next to the annual price. These match:
- .com, .net, and .org transfer at €17.99, €15.99, and €14.99
- .eu transfers at €9.99, .de at €5.99, and .nl at €7.99
- .uk and .co.uk transfer at €6.99, and .us at €7.99
- .dev transfers at €14.99, .app at €16.99, and .me at €19.99
- .io transfers at €69.99, and .co at €38.99
.ai is the exception. Registration and renewal are €99.99 a year. A transfer is €243.99. Read that line on the domain page before you start an .ai transfer. The other names do not use a higher transfer price.
A transfer is one year. It is not a 2-to-10-year registration. Register a domain for a server covers a new name, which can run for 1 to 10 years at the annual price. A transfer cannot.
What moves with the name
DNS and email forwarding are included after the transfer, as they are for a registration. WHOIS privacy is included, except on .us.
The current registrar gives you the transfer code. The domain page is where the transfer is ordered and paid. After the name is at Serverary, the client area can email a new transfer code to the registrant if the name moves again.
Renewal after the transfer
The added year uses the transfer price you paid. Later renewals use the annual price. For .com that remains €17.99 a year. For .ai, renewal remains €99.99 a year even though the transfer was €243.99. The name renews when its invoice is paid.
If you also need a machine for the name, order it separately. The servers page lists the servers. The domain page does not include a server.
Open Domain names, choose transfer, and pay the price printed for that name.
