Add backups to a server

Add backups when you want a copy kept with the server. They are optional. The price of the server does not include them.
What you pay
Backups cost 20% of the term you choose. The plan page prints that amount before you pay.
Cloud 1 GB on a 12-month term is €95.88 for the year. Backups on that order are 20% of the term, and the plan page shows €19.18. A shorter term has its own backup amount on the same page. What a Cloud server costs in euro explains why the monthly figure on the card is not the amount due today.
The plan page says the backups are kept until the next renewal unless you turn them off.
When the charge is billed
If you add backups with the order, they are part of the amount due for that term. If you add them later, that mid-term invoice does not by itself suspend the server. From the next renewal, backups are a line on the server's own invoice. What is included with a server explains the invoice that does suspend the server.
Backups do not add memory, disk, or a second address, and they do not move the datacenter.
Open Cloud 1 GB, choose the term, and read the backup line before you add it.
