Cancel a server

You can cancel a server from the client area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, so the next term does not start. What a server renewal costs explains that next invoice.

The current period

Fees for the current prepaid period are not refunded, except where the terms or mandatory law require a refund. A consumer in the European Union or the European Economic Area may withdraw within 14 days of the contract, without giving a reason. Send that notice to [email protected]. The sums paid for the withdrawn contract are refunded within 14 days, using the same means of payment where practicable.

If you asked for the service to begin during those 14 days, you pay a proportionate amount for the period used if you later withdraw. If you gave express consent to immediate performance and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully performed, that right ends when performance is complete.

A domain is separate

A domain that has already been registered or renewed is generally not refundable, because the registry has already performed the registration. Register a domain for a server is a separate order from the server. The terms are the agreement for both.
